Chronic Pain (if not a disease condition) is often treated similarly to Temporomandibular Disorder, in a comprehensive, multifaceted approach. When pain surpasses our capacity to cope, we automatically react in ways that actually make the pain worse. The patient can learn how small changes in multiple habits and behavior can have big positive changes in reducing and/or eliminating pain. All tools utilized are designed to help the patient become aware of and interrupt the pain cycle to live with greater comfort.
